VICTIM SERVICES

AID provides 24/7 support to survivors of crime and their families. Our trained social workers offer immediate crisis intervention, safety planning, and emotional support whenever it is needed. We assist survivors in navigating the legal system, accessing protective orders, and connecting with counseling, housing, and other vital community resources.

Available day and night, our victim services team is dedicated to ensuring that every survivor feels supported, empowered on their path to healing.

NEW START

The New Start program will provide individualized, comprehensive, community-based, re-entry services for adults who are rejoining the community after a period of incarceration. The primary goal of this program will be to assist individuals in successfully reintegrating into the community life following incarceration.

The program will establish a trusting, supportive, collaborative relationship with each participant to reduce recidivism (both short and long term), reduce homelessness, eliminate hospitalizations or restrictive care, help maintain housing and active community integration while reducing or eliminating further encounters with law enforcement. Staff will work with clients on obtaining appropriate mental health services, connection to community resources, assistance with obtaining employment and permanent housing.
