Each winter, CDS staff receive an invitation to participate in the Lions Fishing Derby at Shabbona Lake State Park. The Lions plan months ahead to create a special day for anyone who wants to join in. There are games, prizes, activities, lunch provided, and of course, boat rides and fishing. All provided free of cost by Lions volunteers. Over 50 AID CDS participants joined this year from sites all over the agency.
