These are the newest actions being taken at AID:
· All group services provided by AID staff will be suspended as of 3/18/2020 (i.e. mental health groups)
· All AID locations will be closed to the general public as of 3/18/2020. All psychiatric clinics will continue as scheduled to ensure access to maintenance medications. Any AID Therapy client who has an appointment and wishes to reschedule their appointment or arrange to receive telephonic therapy should call 630-966-4302. Any client or persons seeking services who is feeling stressed and overwhelmed should be encouraged to call the Crisis Line of the Fox Valley at 630-966-9393.
· The Community Support Team, Crisis Line of Fox Valley, Victims’ Services Program, Supervised and Supported Residential Programs, 24-Hour and Intermittent CILA will continue to serve the people that they support. These programs by definition aren’t delivered from an office and we are increasing their flexibility.
· We continue to prioritize mental health services for persons who are in imminent danger of harm to self or others and those whose symptoms are exacerbated by the COVID-19 crisis.·
